My Digital Studio Monday – Featuring Sale-a-Bration Products

IceCream Parlor-Bliss-001_edited-1 There are only 4 more days to take advantage of Sale-a-Bration where for every $50 order of SU product, you can choose a FREE item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure. I wanted to feature a couple of those FREE products in my card today. Yes, the product in this year's Sale-a-Bration brochure is available digitally on a FREE CD! How cool is that?

I used designs from the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper & Quick Accents Pack. I added the butterfly from the Bliss Stamp Brush Set and the 'thanks' greeting from the So Happy for You Stamp Brush Set. Add a Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding ribbon and bow and there you have it! So quick and easy and no mess or clean-up! Order your copy of My Digital Studio before March 31 and choose the Digital Content CD (123681) as your FREE gift.

Stamp Brush Sets: Bliss, So Happy for You

Background color: color picked from the designer series paper

Punches: Square resized and filled with the color picked from Ice Cream Parlor borders #2, Top Note Shape filled with Ice Cream Parlor Pattern 5 – moved so floral design at bottom of page shows in the punch

Other: Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding ribbon, Ice Cream Parlor Embellishments – Flowers

Today is a beautiful Spring-ish day here in SE Alaska with lots of sun and warmer weather. Maybe we will actually have a Spring this year in the first half of the year. Some years we have Spring in the summer…LOL!

I used papers from the beautiful Botanical Gazette Designer Series Paper for my version of the Stamping 411 sketch. I love the way dry embossing makes the pieced section look like it has been quilted! I also love, love, love the Four Frames Stamp Set which is a promotional sneak peak from the new 2011-2012 catalog to be released July 1. This stamp set will be available April 1. It is so versatile and I have used it several times already.

Thanks for stopping by to visit today. Do come back again soon. I love your company and would love for you to share this post with your friends if you like this card.

Happy Spring Stamping,
Sue

I finally have this card finished for my 3-12-11 Stamping 411 challenge. Working on taxes, holding a workshop, and a couple of evening online classes have delayed my posting this card. I used My Digital Studio to create the card. When I saw the three squares, I immediately thought of putting pictures of our dogs into those squares. I hope you like the card.

Thanks for coming to visit today. I hope you took time to browse around my site and have a virtual cup of coffee or tea with me. Do come back again soon!

I Love Being a Stampin’ Up! Demo!

Four Frames_edited-2

One of the benefits of being a demo is that we get to preorder product before it is available for our customers. This allows us to create samples to have ready when the product is available. I am excited to be able to share this card with you. The stamp set is Four Frames which will be available as a sneak peek stamp set from the 2011-2012 catalog in April. I LOVE this set because the frames fit perfectly in our decorative label punch! I have also used several of the designs from the Designer Series Paper Paisley Petals which is also a sneak peek from the 2011-2012 catalog. I love the colors of these papers!

You too, can enjoy the benefit of preordering product to share with your customers as a demonstrator. But there are more benefits than just this:

  • be your own boss and choose your own level of business activity

New My Digital Studio Download 2-22-11

New Download card for blogs-001 copy Yesterday, Stampin' Up! released a new series of My Digital Studio downloads. This card is made with Easter Blossoms Stamp Brush Set from this current download and the Nursery Designer Series Paper download that was released February 15. Click on the links for pictures of the downloads.

I used Early Espresso card stock for the base of the card. Then I enlarged the square punch and filled it with Nursery Designer Series Paper #3. I added a circle punch and elongated it to make the egg shape. I filled this with Nursery Designer Series Paper #11 and moved the punch around to get the border of the paper in the punch. To do this you will have to unclick the box that says to rotate fill with punch. Once you get the fill as you want it, click the box again so the fill will rotate and move along with the punch. The "grass" is All Scallops Stamp Brush Set #8 stamped with Garden Green. I copied and pasted it three times to get the clumps of grass.

If you like this card, please leave a comment, click the FB like button, and share it with your friends. Thanks for coming to visit today and I hope that the promise of Spring lifts your spirits today.

Happy Stamping,
Sue

Can’t Think of a Better Way to Spend an Afternoon!

Stamped tiles This afternoon a group of my stampers joined me in stamping on tumbled tiles and just plain enjoying each other's company. I schedule a monthly Sundays with Sue where we gather usually to work on our own stamping projects and enjoy each other's company. Today I decided to bring some of the tumbled tiles I have in my stash and have my friends stamp on them. Great fun was had by all. We used a variety of stamps and tried using markers, chalks, and pigment inks. After we finished our masterpieces, we sealed them with Krylon Matte Finish since the dye inks would not be waterproof by themselves. The flowers came from the Vintage Vogue, Fifth Avenue Floral, and Just Believe stamp sets. To order any of these stamp sets, just click on the links.

Thanks for coming to visit today. I hope you had an equally pleasant afternoon.

Happy Stamping,
Sue
