This Monday, our challenge for My Digital Studio Monday was to use the colors found in this photo, Basic Gray, Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, and Very Vanilla. 
I enjoyed using these colors but had a heck of a time coming up with the design. One of the beauties of My Digital Studio is that you can change things with a click of the delete button and no paper was wasted. :o) I am pleased with the final version of my card.

Now I challenge you to create a card or scrapbook page using these same colors. Email your creation to me and I'll post it on my blog. Let's see how many variations we can get. I look forward to your creations!

Welcome to My Digital Craft Corner on this rainy Tuesday in SE Alaska. Well…it is still a terrific Tuesday because we get new digital downloads for My Digital Studio today. Check them out here and then order the ones that catch your fancy.

I used the Natural Composition Overlays to create texture on my background by stamping it in the same Certainly Celery color as the card stock and changing the drop shadow to Always Artichoke with opacity and blur at 100%. I shrank down the Cottage Wall dsp so the pattern would show in the butterfly. As a final touch, I added three dahlias in Perfect Plum on the butterfly.

Welcome to My Digital Studio Monday.The photo on the right is of a traditional Father's Day card we made in a recent workshop. Inside it says "…a Happy Father's Day. It is the card my hubby received today. I decided to challenge myself to create this card digitally for My Digital Studio Monday. The card on the left is my digital one. I think I came pretty close!

I used the half-circle punch to create the waves just like I did on the traditional card. The fishing pole is an arrow I made really narrow and elongated. The fishing line is that flag punch just really elongated and made very narrow. The little fish is from the Summer Splash stamp brush set (126039).

Oh, do I like Tuesdays! This is the day that Stampin' Up! releases new digital downloads for My Digital Studio. I always get up in anticipation of seeing what cool things I can download to use in my digital designing. This week did not disappoint me. Since my husband and I are about to embark on an extended RV trip with our two dachshounds, I just HAD to get the Fifty Nifty Kit! When I saw the thumbnail in the PDF of this week's downloads, I was sorry to see that Alaska and Hawaii were not included in the thumbnail but I bought the download anyway. I was not disappointed! Since we are selling our Alaskan home and putting everything (almost…not all my stamps for sure!) in storage, I decided we needed to get our long-overdue Christmas letter mailed out. We plan to travel in our 5th wheel trailer for about 9 months before we settle down once again. That is why I think this card is so clever and appropriate! I created this very hybrid card to go with the letter. The Alaskan Mobile Home image is from a stamp I bought maybe 15 years ago. I stamped and colored the image with watercolor crayons. Then I scanned it into my computer and inserted into the Photobox – 11 punch. I used a slightly larger punch colored with Night of Navy as a mat. Then I added the rest of the card. Finally, I printed it out and mounted it on Peach Parfait cardstock.
