One of the new downloads today is the 2013-2015 In Color Ruffle Trim. I enjoy using it with traditional stamping and am delighted that it is now available in digital form. Furthermore, I was surprised that the download includes a circle frame and a flower created with the ruffle trim, very cool. I had the perfect picture of my college freshman granddaughter to put in the frame and this scrapbook page was the outcome.

For some reason the MDS program only offered an oval shape when I changed the shape of the photo so I went with that. Had to change the shape of the circle frame but it works. Our granddaughter’s house at college had a function where they all dressed like flappers. I think she nailed the look. Of course, I had to add a vintage overlay! I used the Decorative Overlays – flourishes and changed the color to Early Espresso to keep with the vintage look. The background is Very Vanilla. I am so delighted with how this page turned out!
