Last Chance Products Time has come. It’s necessary to move out the old to make room for the new products coming in the Jan – April 2024 Mini Catalog. Now is the time to order those stamps, bundles, papers, and accessories you have been eyeing in the fall mini catalog. A few items are carrying over to next year but most will retire. Most importantly, even those stamps and dies that carry over into the next catalog sales period will no longer be bundled together. Now is the time to order the bundles and save 10%.
Since items will sell out quickly, the best policy is to shop now while there is still inventory. You can access the Carryover list here and the Last Chance items list here. Then go over to my online store to order. That way you will know if something is still available.
My Favorite Products are Going Away During Last Chance Products Time
I love fancy fold cards and this beautiful hexagon fancy fold card is such fun to receive. When you remove the ribbon, it opens to reveal three pockets with little message cards in the pockets.
I watched a great video by Julie DiMatteo on how to make this card and am sharing the template she has on her blog, the Paper Pixie. Fold the straight score lines in mountain folds and the diagonal ones in valley folds. Cut off the shaded areas.

Here is a new twist on the shutter card. It is called a seesaw shutter card and is very much like a trifold shutter card, the score and fold lines are just changed around. It looks complicated but it really is quick and easy to make. I first saw this fancy fold in a post on Facebook by Lavonne Schwendeman. She even shared a diagram on how to cut and score it. Thanks, Lavonne!
This paper is from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper (160375). I hadn’t used this design yet and thought it would be perfect with the bicycles lined up along the middle but had to cut it carefully so the bicycles were in the center. The card base is Balmy Blue. I like the blue edges but Basic White cardstock for the base would make folding the score lines easier. It is a bit lighter in weight.
Start out by adhering a solid piece of the dsp to the card base before doing any cutting or scoring. You could layer the dsp after cutting and folding but calculating the measurements and shapes would be a big challenge. This way is much easier. Then I cut and scored and folded according to the diagram below. (Diagram is not to scale, sorry!) All that is left to do is add any additional elements desired.
The solid lines are cut lines and dotted are score lines. V=valley fold, M=mountain fold. The size of the piece is 8″ x 4 14″. This new twist on the shutter card will fold up to fit a medium envelope.
Supplies Used for a New Twist on the Shutter Card

Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Deckled Rectangles Dies

This beautiful Fancy Flora fancy fold card was a cinch to make and turned out so wonderfully! Three scored lines and two cutting lines are all it takes for create the card base. Then adding pieces of the Fancy Flora designer series paper (160413) to decorate it creates the beauty. The focal point is a beautiful die-cut label using the Sentimental Park dies (160566). Unfortunately, the greeting is unavailable as it is from the retired 2022 SAB set Special Moments. You can easily substitute a greeting from the Sentimental; Park stamp set (160561) or any other greeting set that fits on the label. Here is a vertical view of the card and the back side. The white area is for handwriting a message and signing the card.

I love this Beautiful Sentimental Park Pop-up Card! I love pop-up cards in general but this one is so pretty and so easy to make. Check out the opened view.
And here is a top view of the card.
This Sentimental Park Bundle caught my attention as soon as I opened the January – April Mini catalog because of the beautiful label dies. The floral corners of the dies are beautiful. A very cool thing I discovered when I first used the dies is that the the inside edge of the floral bundles is cut so that the smaller straight-edged label nestles inside the larger floral one. Sooo cool!
I used one of the patterns from the Regency Park 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (160559) to decorate the card base which is of Petal Pink cardstock.

Making this Rings of Love Fancy Fold card is really quite easy! Start with a Crumb Cake cardstock base. Then add a layer of Soft Sea Foam cardstock and the beautiful Rings of Love designer series paper that will be free during Sale-a-bration for a $50 purchase.
I stamped the branch, leaves, and nest on crumb cake cardstock with Soft Suede and Parakeet Party ink and fussy cut them out. The bird was stamped on a scrap of Basic White cardstock using Starry Night ink stamped off once and the wing with full strength Starry Night ink. I stamped the belly with Daffodil Delight ink and colored the beak with Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend. When I finished coloring the bird, I punched it out with the Songbird Builder Punch. Next I adhered the branch with the nest and the bird to the front of the narrow upright strip of cardstock. The finishing step was to stamp the greeting and then adhere this piece to the cardbase.

I love fancy folds and this double box fancy fold card is easy and fun to make. The October Paper Pumpkin’ kit had pre-printed cards with this image on both the front and the back of the card. It is such a beautiful image with the snowy evergreen trees and the silver snowflakes that I couldn’t see using the patterned paper for the back of the card. So I cut the cards in half, added card bases from cardstock I had, and made twice the number of cards. That is what is on the front of this card.
However, you can still make this card even if you didn’t get the October Paper Pumpkin’ kit because the Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper found in the July – December mini catalog has a design just like the card in the kit. The kit was designed to coordinate with the Peaceful Place Suite of products. I love it when Stampin’ Up! designs products this way!
The back of this Double Box fancy fold card is where you can write your message and sign the card.

If you have been following me, you know that I love fancy fold cards and this Clever Cats Slide & Lock card is one of my favorites. I love the Clever Cats stamp set (156490) found in the July – December mini catalog. The fancy fold part of this card is that the label slides out to allow the recipient to open the gatefold card.

This beautiful dragonfly gatefold card is just the ticket when you love both sides of a designer series paper. It also is a good way to use your designer series papers rather than just having them sitting on your shelf…yeah…I know…we all tend to hoard our papers.
For this card, I used the beautiful retiring Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Dragonfly Garden stamp set is part of the Ornate Garden Suite so naturally I used the dragonfly as an accent piece. I stamped the dragonfly with Early Espresso ink, then colored it with the Light Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend. Finally I brushed Clear Wink of Stella over the wings and the body of the dragonfly to give it a shimmery appearance. It’s too bad the camera couldn’t pick up the shimmer. The greeting, also from the stamp set, was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Early Espresso ink and cut out with the next to smallest rectangle of the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I love those dies!
This is what this beautiful dragonfly gatefold card looks like when opened. I stamped the verse from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and clusters of little dragonflies with Early Espresso ink. On the bottom corners of the card I glued triangles of the reverse side of the dsp.
Part of my purpose of making this card was to use up the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series paper since it is retiring May 3. I created another gatefold card using a different pattern in this set of papers. Which colorway do you like best? Leave a comment below.

The design of this card makes me think of Christmas candles. I’m mentally designing another card with this fold. Come back in the next couple of days to see what evolves. While Karen’s card was the inspiration for this card, my next card will be an inspiration from God.
