Stamping 411 Saturday

Wow, Saturday is almost over and I am just now getting the time to share my Stamping 411 sketch challenge with you. It has been a really busy day. I was trying to get Valentine treats into the mail for our grandchildren and great-grands but didn't quite make the 2:00 pm deadline. Oh well, they would have been late anyway. Bad grandma!!!

Here is this weekend's sketch:                                   and here is my rendition:

2-12-11 sketch          Elizabeth Valentine copy

It definitely is not the traditional Valentine colors but I think my husband will like it better. Now I need to figure out what heartfelt message to put inside. I pretty much said it all when I made those two scrapbook pages a couple of days ago.

Thanks for coming to visit today. I hope you took the time to look around my blog space and enjoy a virtual cup of coffee or tea with me.

Happy Stamping,

Sue

Thanks for your kind comments Kerin, Tiffany, and Lee! I think the reason I use the bird dsp so easily is that I love the colors. I am more challenged with the yellow prints in this set and am surprised how much I like the end results when I use those sheets in my cards.

I’m sure the kids will love your treats whenever they arrive 🙂 I keep trying to use the bird dsp and putting it back, I love what you’ve done with it here…thanks for the inspiration! Thanks for playing along with Stamping 411 this week 🙂
