New Colors for Stampin’ Up!

banner for color revamp of Stampin' Up! colors

I am delighted that Stampin’ Up! renovates their colors periodically to stay current with color trends. The last change to the core colors was 2013.Check out these new colors and the In Colors.

screenshot of the new In Colors and New core colorsSome of the core colors have been moved to different color families to create greater opportunities for color combinations. The new core color families are below.

screenshot of revamped color familiesTo make room for these beautiful new colors, Stampin’ Up! had to retire some of the old ones. They also have brought back some of the favorite In Colors that are currently retired. Check them out!

screenshot of retiring Stampin' Up! colorsThe print on this screenshot is small and hard to read so click here to read the list in larger print. Then go stock up on the cardstock and reinkers of your favorite colors before they are no longer available.

Making Room for New Product

Banner for the Retiring listThe Retirement List of Stampin’ Up! products was posted today. Check it out by clicking on the banner above. Every year, all the product that uses the retiring In Colors sell out quickly so you need to check out the list and order what you want to stock up, especially reinkers for your stamp pads soon. Here are some other things I want to point out:

  • If you have been thinking about getting the color caddy, order it now as it is retiring.
  • All the Classic ink pads are on the retiring list because Stampin’ Up! is introducing a redesigned ink pad. The lid still slides like the retiring style but all you have to do is lift the lid instead of pushing it first and then lifting it. It is so much easier! Also, an anti-foam ingredient has been added to the inks. This should reduce the amount of ink bubbles you get on your stamps.
  • Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper is retiring and being replaced with another glimmer paper. If you love the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper as much as I do, you will want to order several packages of it.
  • Most retiring items are on a ‘while inventory lasts’ basis so I recommend you check out the list now and order what you want. When an item is sold out, it will not appear in my online store. Therefore, order through my online store rather than sending me an order to avoid something selling out between the time you send me an order and I get it ordered.

Waterfront Yet Again!

Thinking of You card using Waterfront Stamp Set I am so enthralled with the Waterfront stamp set that I can’t stop making cards with it. This time I stamped a scene and then cut it out with an oval Stitched Shapes framelit. Then I matted it with a scalloped edge Layering Ovals framelit. The greeting is from Heartfelt Blossoms, one of the free Sale-a-Bration stamp sets. How do you get a free stamp set? Order $50 or more in product during Sale-A-Bration. If you order $100, you can even choose from two more detailed items or get two $50 items Be sure to use the January Host Code when you order to get a small Thank You gift from me as well. You can download the Sale-A-Bration brochure herel

Another Chance Reserve The Stamparatus!

Stamparatus headerLast month we could order this wonderful new tool for precision stamping but the quantity available sold out in 15 minutes! Wow…15 minutes! Stampin’ Up! was astounded by the huge response to this new tool so they have changed their plan to release it.

The new window for reserving a Stamparatus opens tomorrow, Dec 5 and will be open until Dec 30 no matter how many items are reserved. Then reservations will be closed until the new 2018 Annual Catalog comes out when you will be able to order them from the catalog. Beginning March 19, Stampin’ Up! will ship Stamparatuses in the order the reservations were received (first in, first out) and continue through the next few months and beyond as product arrives in our warehouse. Because shipment dates are based on manufacturing lead times, not all of the reservations made during the December 5–30 window will ship on March 19 (as was previously announced). Therefore get your reservation on Dec 5!

Watch this video to see the benefits of the Stamparatus if you don’t already know about it.

Back From On Stage Live!

Stamparatus header

The most exciting new product from Stampin’ Up! is the Stamparatus! Oh my goodness! We all went crazy when they demonstrated this new and innovative way to precisely position stamps on multiple cards at On Stage Live. The Misti is well-known by many stampers but Stampin’ Up! did not want to just sell Mistis, they designed an over-the-top product to accurately position stamps. Not only does it do this but so much more! Check out this video by Stampin’ Up! to introduce the Stamparatus.

So you are excited like I am?  I was all ready to order one the day after I got home from On Stage. However, Stampin’ Up! is trying a new way to launch a new product. They are trying a reservation system. There are three reservation windows:

  • November 16 at 2 pm MT – November 30, 2017 with delivery date approximately Feb 1, 2018
  • December 5 – 30, 2017 with delivery approximately March 19, 2018
  • January 15 – 30, 2018 with delivery approximately April 15, 2018

The price of the Stamparatus is $49 USD/$65 CAD. You have to provide credit card information at the time you make the reservation but it won’t be charged until the Stamparatus is shipped. You may participate in all three reservation  windows but can only order one at a time. Click here after 2 pm on Nov 16 to place your reservation.

Order Stampin’ Blends Beginning Nov 1!

banner for Stampin' Blends with start date

Whoohoo! Stampin’ Up! just announced that customers can begin ordering the Stampin’ Blends November 1st. These are alcohol markers in Stampin’ Up! exclusive colors. Unlike Copic markers, you don’t have to be a color scientist to create beautiful works of art with the Stampin’ Blends. You already are familiar with the colors and know what colors go well together. To simplify things, the Blends come in a light and dark version of each color offered. They are similar to the Stampin’ Blendabilities which were pulled from the market due to manufacturing design issues but these Blends have been tested more thoroughly and the design of the pens revamped to correct the pitfalls of the Blendabilities. Another benefit of these Blends is that the price of each color has been reduced from the price the Blendabilities were. Check out the video below.

The colors being offered at this time are

  • Night of Navy
  • Bermuda Bay
  • Pool Party
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Calypso Coral
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Cherry Cobbler
  • Pink Pirouette
  • Rich Razzleberry
  • Old Olive
  • Smoky Slate
  • Crumb Cake
  • Bronze
  • Ivory
  • Color Lifter
