Last Day to Order For SAB

Image is the Sale-a-bration banner

Today’s the last day to order for SAB. I don’t want you to miss out! For every $50 in product you purchase, you can choose from an exciting variety of products all for FREE! You can order from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and the July – December Mini Catalog to reach the $50 total. But the order must be in today to qualify!

Last Day to Order These Products Available with $50 order

There are three designer series papers that are exclusive to this SAB that coordinate with items in the two catalogs I mentioned above. Penguin Playmates Designer Series Papers (158420) coordinates with the Penguin Place Bundle (156789) in the mini catalog. Beautiful black and white Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper (156630) gives you a chance to add your own coloring that coordinates with the Hand-Penned Petals Bundle (155492) in the annual catalog. Finally, Peaceful Prints Designer Series Papers (156628) coordinates with the Peaceful Deer bundle (156391) in the mini catalog. One of the designs in the Peaceful Prints has a deer image you can punch out with the Deer Builder punch.

There are also three stamp sets in the $50 order category. Feels Like Home (156607) is a beautiful line drawing of a front door with a bicycle parked in front of it. This stamp set begs to be colored. There is a Textures & Frames stamp set (156616) which has bold images of circles, lines, and rectangles. Finally, there is the darling Counting Sheep stamp set (156591) with three sheep and a couple of greetings. To make this set even better, for another $50 you can get Sheep Dies (156600) to cut the sheep out. These dies include three for the sheep, a balloon, fence, cloud shapes, sun, pennant, and party hat.

$100 Order

You can get any two of the above items, Summer Shadows Dies (156618) which coordinate with the Shaded Summer Stamp Set (155783) in the Annual Catalog or the beautiful DisiNKtive Delicate Dahlias stamp set (156601). This set is a two-step stamp set. There is an outline stamp to stamp details on the solid stamp. That’s the two-step process. You stamp the solid stamp first and then the outline one on top to define the edges of the petals. However, the solid stamp is a disINKtive stamp that gives beautiful shading with just one application of ink. It’s so beautiful by itself.

So… it’s the last day to order for SAB. It’s your last chance to get some of these wonderful products. Click here to view them and place your order.

Beautiful Dragonfly Gatefold Card

Gatefold card created with the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series paper and Dragonfly Garden stamp set.

This beautiful dragonfly gatefold card is just the ticket when you love both sides of a designer series paper. It also is a good way to use your designer series papers rather than just having them sitting on your shelf…yeah…I know…we all tend to hoard our papers.

For this card, I used the beautiful retiring Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Dragonfly Garden stamp set is part of the Ornate Garden Suite so naturally I used the dragonfly as an accent piece. I stamped the dragonfly with Early Espresso ink, then colored it with the Light Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend. Finally I brushed Clear Wink of Stella over the wings and the body of the dragonfly to give it a shimmery appearance. It’s too bad the camera couldn’t pick up the shimmer. The greeting, also from the stamp set, was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Early Espresso ink and cut out with the next to smallest rectangle of the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I love those dies!

Opened view of the Dragonfly Gatefold Card created with Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper

This is what this beautiful dragonfly gatefold card looks like when opened. I stamped the verse from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set and clusters of little dragonflies with Early Espresso ink. On the bottom corners of the card I glued triangles of the reverse side of the dsp.

Part of my purpose of making this card was to use up the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series paper since it is retiring May 3. I created another gatefold card using a different pattern in this set of papers. Which colorway do you like best? Leave a comment below.

Joy of Sharing Kit = Great Value

photo shows cards made with the Joy of Sharing Card Kit

Check this out. Joy of Sharing Kit = great value! This card kit includes a set of 7 photopolymer stamps, a clear stamp block, Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin’ Spot, 15 printed card bases, 15 envelopes, printed die-cut images and label pieces, die-cut accent pieces, Laser-cut foil frames, adhesive-backed glitter dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhesive dots. You also get complete instructions to create the cards and a couple of alternative card ideas.

I put together all 15 cards. Some were photo cards and the rest were beautiful Christmas cards. But I had a lot of pieces left over. So I used the Wonders of the Season Memories & More Cards and Envelopes package to make 20 more cards using some of the extra pieces from the Joy of Sharing Card Kit. Now I had 35 cards from the pieces of the Joy of Sharing card kit.

Check out some of the cards I made combining the two kits.

14 More Cards!

I still had lots of die-cuts and labels left so I cut card bases from Thick Whisper White cardstock and carried on. I trimmed the centers of the gold foil laser-cut frames down to fit the card bases I had just made and trimmed off some of the pointy parts a little bit. These were adhered with Stampin” Seal to the centers of the card fronts. Then I covered the irregular parts with die-cut poinsettias and pine cone clusters from the Joy of Sharing kit. I got 14 more cards from that kit for a total of 49 cards.

Photo shows an additional 14 cards created with Joy of Sharing Card Kit elements.

And look how much more is left over for future use!

Left over elements of the Joy of Sharing Card Kit after making 49 cards!

I think you will agree that the Joy of Sharing kit = Great Value! The kit and the Wonder of the Season Memories & More Cards & Envelopes are retiring the 4th of January and are on Stampin’ Up!’s Year-End Close Out Sale. Yep…they are on sale and there is still inventory left. Hustle on over and purchase these two items now! You will have a headstart on next years Christmas cards. When you order, use the December host code and receive a small thank you gift from me.

June Is a Great Time to Become a Demonstrator

June is a great time to become a demonstrator and be your own boss. Here are a few reasons why:

  • Stampin’ Up! just released their new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This catalog contains so many new products and fresh ideas! Your friends and neighbors will have lots to be excited about.

  • You determine how much time you put into your business. You adjust the time to fit family and health needs. The only requirement to stay active as a demonstrator is to have sales (from customers or yourself) totaling $300 per quarter.
  • You can make edxtra money to help pay for children’s sports activities, music lessons, or whateve. How much you make depends on how hard you work your business and how well you manage the finances of your business.

  • You will make long-time friends with your customers and other demonstrators.

These are some of the reasons why June is a great time to become a demonstrator. I would love to have a discussion with you about how starting your own business as a demonstrator can help you meet your goals. Give me a call and check out more information here.

Beautiful Ornate Thanks Bundle

photo shows all the pieces of the Ornate Thanks Bundle

Today I am sharing two Thank You cards created with the Ornate Thanks Bundle (154115). This bundle is part of the Ornate Garden Suite (154153) which is in the upcoming 2020=2021 Annual Catalog. If you are an avid stamper like me, you will love this chance to buy the suite now instead of having to wait until June. Click here to see the whole Ornate Garden Suite.

photo is of a handmade Thank You card created with the Ornate Thanks Bundle

This is the first card I created when I started playing with the Ornate Thanks Bundle. I was immediately drawn to the Ornate Border Dies shown here.

photo shows the Ornate Border Dies

I love this new Ornate Thanks stamp set(149471) because it’s a photopolymer set, I love the script font of the various sayings you can add to the big, bold thanks stamps. For this card I chose to add ‘for all you do’ to the ‘Thanks’. These cards are going to a couple friends who are highly stressed nurses right now.

To Make This Card:

  • Fold Bermuda Bay cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ in half for card base
  • Die-cut Pool Party cardstock 5 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ with the two dies in the upper right corner and adhere diagonally across the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • Stamp greeting from Ornate Thanks stamp set on Whisper White with Bermuda Bay ink and die-cut with die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690) and applied to card front with stampin’ dimensionals
  • Tie an overhand knot in Silver metallic edged ribbon and affixed to card front with mini glue dot.
handmade Thank You card created with product from the Ornate Garden Suite

This is the second Thank You card I created with the new Ornate Thanks Bundle.

To Make This Card:

  • Fold Pineapple Punch cardstock 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ in half for card base
  • Die-cut Call Me Clover cardstock 5 1/2″ x 1 1/4″ with Ornate Border die and adhered to card front
  • Stamp greetings from Ornate Thanks stamp set on card base with Call Me Clover ink
  • Add four sequins to flower centers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Now go order this new Ornate Thanks Bundle and begin creating gorgeous but easy cards with it. Share a photo of your card with me and I’ll share it here on my blog.

Flowering Foils Specialty DSP Card

Handmade Birthday card using Flowering Foils SpecialtyDesigner Series Paper

Here is a Flowering Foils Specialty DSP card. This specialty designer series paper has both rose gold foil and silver foil embossing. It is my favorite of all the Sale-A-Bration free products. I love coloring the paper with Stampin’ Blends with stunning resluts. The paper is only one-sided and a little lighter in weight than Stampin’ Up!’s regular designer series paper but that is fine with me as the Stampin’ Blends soak through more leaving a soft water-colored effect on the reverse side. That is what I used as the background for the beautiful flower I colored and fussy-cut for the card It comes in a package of four different designs, three 12 x 12″ sheets each. Check out the patterns below.

index of Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper

To make this card use the following supplies:

  • Whisper White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″ for card base
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock, 5 1/4″ x 3″
  • Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper – large floral design 5 1/4″ x 2 3/4″, scrap with one complete large flower
  • Combo Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend Markers
  • Combo Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend Markers
  • Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin’ Pad
  • Happy Birthday To You Stamp Set – a free Sale-A-Bration item with a $50 purchase
  • SNAIL Adhesive
  • Stampin’ Dimensionals

I colored the larger piece of Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper and the scrap with the stampin’ blends and fussy cut the single flower. The Granny Apple Green cardstock was adhered to the card front. Then the larger piece of the dsp was turned over and adhered to the card front. The single flower was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally the Happy Birthday was stamped in the bottom right corner with Granny Apple Green ink.

Here is another Flowering Foils Specialty DSP card I created and you can see two others I shared here.

If you don’t already have this gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper go order it here and then share with me what you create by email. I’ll feature it on a blog post.
