It’s Ink-redible!!!

B1_Inkredible_Nov12_USCA

Dates: November  1 – December 16, 2012

Promotion Details: Hostesses who hold a minimum $450 party during the promotion period will receive a FREE collection of Classic Stampin Pads-they can choose from Brights, Subtles, or Regals-a $49.95 value!  Plus, the free ink is in addition to the regular hostess benefits-INK-redible!

The Fine Print

  • Customer, demonstrator, workshop, and online orders from my Online Store qualify for this promotion.
    • While in the past, online orders have not counted toward hostess promotions, we're excited to unveil a trial program that will allow your online customers to take advantage of our current hostess promotion with a qualifying order.
    • While we want to encourage rewarding hostesses who host parties, we will be testing this option as away to reward customers who purchase from your Online Store.
    • Customers will be prompted to select their qualifying ink collection with a $450 order. They will be required to use one of the following item numbers in order to select their free ink collection.
      • 132652 Brights Classic Stampin' Pads
      • 132653 Subtles Classic Stampin' Pads
      • 132654 Regals Classic Stampin' Pads
    • Note: This only applies to orders placed through a DBWS subscriber's Online Store.
  • To get free ink, the order total must be at least $450 before tax and shipping.
  • This special offer isn't incremental. That means if you place a $900 order, we'll be excited for sure-but you won't get two free ink collections. But really, isn't one free collection of ink incentive enough? If you really want to get two free collections, consider joining my team of business builders during this promotion. You will get a free collection when you join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator. Contact me to further discuss how a paper crafting business would benefit you and fit into your goals.
  • Hostesses can still use their additional hostess dollars to get free products from the current annual and seasonal catalogs.
  • Deadlines:
    • Phone: Friday, December 14, 2012; 6:50 PM (MT)
    • OEX: Sunday, December 16, 2012; 11:50 PM (MT)

Contact me to schedule a workshop while I still have spaces left in my calendar. For those of you living off Prince of Wales Island, consider holding a catalog party. Invite a few friends over, spend time looking through the catalog, collect the orders, and have light refreshments. I can send some sample cards for you to share with your friends as well. After the party, mail the orders to me along with payment. I will send you order blanks and a few catalogs. So contact me if you would like to host a catalog party. This is a great chance to get the new stamp pads or increase your collection of ink colors.

Until next time…blessings and happy crafting,
Sue

Look in the Pocket

Bird Mini Pocket Snowflake Mini Pocket
Supplies: stamp sets – For the Birds (w-126405, c-126407) and Mixed Medley hostess set (w-128054, c-128057), Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439), Petite Pocket Bigz Die (123131), Apothecary Accents Framelits die (127003), Snow Flurry Bigz Die (127813), Snow Festival Designer Series Paper (126908), Watercolor Paper (122959), Brights Glimmer Brads (121006), inks – Stazon, Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink Pad, Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green markers

One of the things my dachsie, Little One, loves to do is see what is in my pocket. She sticks her nose in and digs around until she gets ahold of the kleenix then excitedly pulls it out or maybe there will be a dog treat for her.

When you give one of these Petite Pockets as a gift, the recipient will likewise be excited to see what is in it. The contents could be a necklace or bracelet wrapped in a piece of tissue paper. They could be a gift card or perhaps even just a love note. The excitement will be there to see what is in the pocket no matter the contents. This is a very quick and easy gift wrap and a perfect way to wrap a small flat gift.

The tag on the top Petite Pocket was longer than what I needed. What I did was to cut out the whole tag using the Apothecary Accents die. Then I repositioned the framelit with the tag inside the framelit and the part I wanted cut off being outside the end of the framelit. Does that make sense to you?

October 29th was an exciting day at Stampin' Up!. Almost all the stamps and wheels were 15% off. This was an unprecedented sale! Those of you who took advantage of the sale to get some of the stamps on your wish list, THANKS!

Now it is the first of November and Stampin' Up! has an awesome hostess benefit running Nov 1 – Dec 16! When a workshop (or single order for that matter) totals $450 or more, the hostess can choose a whole set of Classic Ink Pads for FREE. This includes the Subtles, Brights, and Regals. The Neutral stamp pads are not part of the promotion. Contact me to schedule your workshop right away while I have room on my calendar. A long-distance catalog order would also qualify for this promotion so gather up your friends, collect orders from them and send them in to me. If you need more catalogs to share, let me know.

Today is the Day!!!

Halloween Party Template-001
Supplies: MDS2+ (130646), MDS2 (130644), MDS2 upgrade (130650), or 30-day FREE trial of MDS2 (130910); Spook Central Designer Ensemble (127589), Bitty Bat punch (122152)

Welcome to The Soggy Stamper blog today. There is a lot going on with Stampin' Up! this week! Oh, boy!

Today is Sell-A-Stamp Spooktacular where ALL SU stamps including the wheels are 15% off except for hostess stamps and stamps that are part of a bundle. For instance, the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set combined with the Holiday Ornaments framelits is not on sale but the stamp set by itself is. This is a one-day-only sale so you must order today to take advantage of the sale. Order through my online store. If you order $150 worth of products through my store you will still get hostess benefits. The prices online have been adjusted just today for the sale price. This is a perfect time to get items on your wish list and to purcase gifts for your stamping friends!

Did you know that you can customize any of the templates in MDS and MDS2? I used the postcard Halloween invitation template from the Spook Central Designer Ensemble as my starting point for the picture at the top of the page. After opening the template, I unlocked all the page elements. Then I deleted the texts on the invitation and added my own text. I felt the words were kind of lost against the background so I added an enlarged square punch filled with Going Gray and an opacity of 50%. Then I moved that layer just behind my text. I also added three bat punches filled with Basic Black. If you haven't given digital crafting a try yet with MDS2, click on the Free 30-day trial in he supply list to order it. You have nothing to lose if you don't like the program but a lot to lose if you don't give it a try. I would love to help you get started enjoying the exciting possibilities of digital crafting.

Until next time…blessings,
Sue

Serene Silhouettes – Get Well

Flowers and Butterfly
Supplies: Stamp Sets – Serene Silhouettes (w-127322, c-127324), Perfectly Penned (w-122890, c-122892); Ink – Gumball Green and Regal Rose, More Mustard, Gumball Green, Early Espresso markers; Card Stock – Very Vanilla, Gumball Green, Rose Red; Other – Window Frames Collection Framelits Dies (129021), 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch (119854), Black Stampin' Emboss Powder (109133)

Welcome to The Soggy Stamper blog this Saturday. I hope your weekend is going well. Here is the third card I have created using the Serene Silhouettes stamp set. I love the simple elegance of this card. After embossing the image with black embossing powder, I colored in the butterfly and the flowers with markers. The 1 3/4" Scallop Circle punch fit perfectly around the image. I had originally planned on punching it out with a circle punch. Well…I have a plethora of circle punches I kept out of storage but not the one I needed this time…go figure! I really like it better with the scallop punch.

Don't forget about the super exciting Sell-A-Stamp Spooktacular happening on Monday, October 29! Here are the details:

  • What a great way to end the month of October! But wait…November is going to be even greater. There is going to be an Ink-redible! promotion for hostesses Nov 1-Dec 16! Say Goodbye!

    LastChance_LP_b1_header_USCA

No, not to me but to some of your favorite Stampin' Up! stamps and supplies! On June 1st, the Stampin' Up! Last Chance lists came out. These lists are items that Stampin' Up! will not be carrying any longer or are reconfiguring how they will be packaged. The Decor Elements and Accessories items are on an 'as quantity lasts' basis so don't wait to check out the lists here to see the items with a picture of each item by alphabetical order and place your order at my online store so you will know immediately if an item is no longer available. There is also a discounted items list so don't miss this opportunity to snatch them up while they are still available.

A good way to go through these lists is with your catalog in hand. Mark the retiring items in your catalog so you will only have to go through the list once. Click here to get the lists by page number.(The list of stamps is in pretty small print so be sure to enlarge the PDF so you can read it better.) Then you can see if something you had tagged to buy is on the retiring list. One of the items that some of you love and won't be continued are the Craft Keepers, just a heads up for you. Remember, you need to look and purchase now! If you need any help with online ordering, prefer to pay by check, or have questions contact me by email sue@soggystamper.com or give me a call 907-401-0192.
