My Digital Studio Monday – Teeny Tiny Wishes Wedding Card

MDS Monday 2-20-12-001

Welcome to The Soggy Stamper blog. I hope you will stay a while and browse through the projects I have created for you. Our assignment for Utah Divas International this week was to create using just black and white. This is a color scheme that is definitely outside my comfort zone. However, I do think it can be quite elegant. I think I achieved elegance with this card.

Here are the supplies I used. If you need any of them or any other supplies, either click on the linked name of the item or click here to go to my online store. Shopping is quick and easy and my store is open 24/7. I appreciate your business.

Welcome to The Soggy Stamper spot. Today I want to share with you a baby gift tag made with the Hoppy Memories designer kit. I have had this kit for a long time and am using it for the first time. For a quick gift tag that doesn't take a lot of time to haul out stamping supplies, turn to your My Digital Studio program. Everything you need is right in your computer and there is no clean up needed afterwards. :o) You don't have My Digital Studio yet? What are you waiting for? My Digital Studio Monday – Tree Trimmings

Christmas 2011-001

My Digital Studio (118108), Tree Trimmings Stamp Brush Set (119096), Torn Edges Stamp Brush Set (118846), Deck the Halls pattern 3 Designer Series Paper from the Deck the Halls Photocard Digital Kit (122176)

It is almost the end of January and I have a question for you. Have you taken the time to scrap your Christmas photos? Our design team assignment for Utah Divas MDS Monday was to create a scrapbook page with our Christmas photos. I have to be honest…these are the only pictures that I have put on a page…LOL! On this page I used Tree Trimmings and Torn Edges stamp brush sets and tried to add a video hot spot but it doesn't work. I'll have to study how to do that a little more. It may be that I saved the photo as a jpeg thus cancelling the hot spot. To order the supplies used on this page, simply click on the item names or click here to enter my online store.

I'd love to see a Christmas or Hanukkah page you create with My Digital Studio. Just email it to me and I'll happily share it on my blog.

Thanks for coming by to visit. Do come back tomorrow to see what I create with one of the new downloads on Terrific Tuesday.

Until next time…Blessings,

My Digital Studio Monday – Hearts Galore

MDS Monday 1-23-12-001My Digital Studio (118108), Hearts and Kisses Photocard Template (129012), First Edition Designer Series Paper – 2 (124408), Full Heart Punch from Punch Shapes (118853), Calendar Basics Kit (118120), Basic Pearls and Rhinestones (124330)

Welcome to My Digital Craft Corner on this yucky January day. Our weather here can't decide to rain or snow so we have both and it is so slushy. But…stamping doesn't depend on the weather so I stayed warm and cozy while I created this card for you. Valentine's day is drawing close (self…it's drawing close so get those valentines made and in the mail this year!) so I have a Valentine for you to jump start your mojo. I am a traditional color person when it comes to holidays but these soft, non-traditional colors are a really quite delightful change for me. I used the designer series paper and embellishments from the Hearts and Kisses Photocard Template Digital Download for this card. I used the drop shadow and color picker functions to create the burnished color around the hearts and to 'sponge' color around the edge of the Full Heart Punch within the large heart.

The cool thing about My Digital Studio is that you can experiment with technique and if you don't like it, you can hit the 'back' button and try again. There is no mess, no wasted paper and no scraps lying around! Have you purchased your copy of My Digital Studio yet? Don't wait any longer! Click here to order through my online store. Once you have the program, I am only a keystroke away to help you. :o)

Thanks for coming to visit. Do come back tomorrow to check out the new digital downloads.

Twitterpated My Digital Studio Monday

Welcome to The Soggy Stamper this chilly Monday morning! For Craig, it is really cold…(17 degrees right now)…but it is sunny! Yay! I am really 'twitterpated' that one of the new downloads last Tuesday was the Twitterpated Digital Kit. Not only did we get the wonderful Twitterpated Designer Series Papers, but we also got the pleated ribbons and the Twitterpated buttons. That's so cool! I designed this card for a good cyber friend's birthday today. I am always procrastinating getting cards made and into the mail so My Digital Studio is perfect for creating digital cards that can be sent quickly by email. Have you purchased My Digital Studio? Why not give it a try right now. You can either order the full software program on DVD here or order My Digital Studio Express and choose the DVD or the digital download. In any case, I am here to help you get started and to answer any questions you might have. If I don't have the answer, I will do my best to get it for you.

Thanks for coming to visit today. Please do take time for a virtual cup of tea or coffee with me and browse my other posts. I look forward to meeting you here tomorrow to share the new digital downloads Stampin' Up! gives us.

My Digital Studio Monday – Back to Basics

MDS Monday 1-9-12-001Stamp Set: Thoughts and Prayers Stamp Brush Set using Always Artichoke color
Paper: Textile Designer Series Paper in Almost Amethyst

Our challenge for this Monday as a member of the Utah Divas International My Digital Studio Monday design team was to use a stamp set that came on the original software disc. I carried that challenge to the letter and only used things that are listed as being on the original disc in the MDS catalog. Wow! Looking back, there were just a few things available. There were just two designs of Designer Series Paper, and no punches or embellishments other than Alpine ribbon. At the time we were all very excited because this was a new opportunity for creating digitally. However, we did have the vision and hope of things to come and Stampin' Up!'s design team has done an outstanding job of creating new downloads almost every week. Thanks, Stampin' Up!

The beautiful new Occasions Mini Catalog is now up and running. There is a hostess benefit called Simple Snapshots Content CD that contains 15 Designer Series Paper Patterns, 32 embellishments, and a 22 piece stamp brush set. On pg 12 is a Twitterpated Swatchbook Designer Template download (125615) and on pg 36 is the Sweet Shop Trifold Card Designer Template digital download (125617). Check these out and then order them either from me by clicking on the link or from your local demonstrator. Do come back tomorrow to see the weekly new downloads.

Until next time…blessings,

My Digital Studio Monday – Happy New Year!

MDS Monday 1-2-12-001

Supplies used: My Digital Studio (118108), Torn Edges – hand torn (118846), Anchored – stars (124581), All Holidays (118825), Basic Pearls and Rhinestones (124330)

Welcome to The Soggy Stamper this first Monday of 2012. I wish you and your family the best in 2012! I created this New Year's card just for you, my faithful readers. Can you guess how I created the sunrise and pink snowfields on the mountains at the bottom of the card? This is a view that we often see here in SE Alaska, especially up in Haines where we lived for 8 years prior to moving to Craig. Our livingroom windows looked across Lynn Canal to exactly the same view as is in this card.

I happily stumbled onto this as I was playing with the Hand torn stamp of the Torn Edges Stamp Brush Set. I changed the drop shadow to Pink Passion and increased the blur to full and opacity to 100%. The actual stamp is Night of Navy like the background. I'm not sure why the background is not quite as dark as the torn edges stamp but it works well for me. The falling stars are my attempt to create a fireworks display for the new year.

I love the effects I can get with My Digital Studio! If you are ready to give it a try, there are two options for you…no…there are three options. First you can purchase the complete software on a DVD by clicking here. Second, you can order My Digital Studio Express. This software is a download. It contains all the necessary programs to run My Digital Studio but has less digital content in the way of stamps, papers, and embellishments. Those things can be upgraded at a later time if you desire. You still get plenty to start creating digitally with the My Digital Studio Express. The third option works if you already have image editing software that supports jpeg or png extensions and multiple layers. Then you can just download individual files you like and use them with your other software. You can purchase these files here in my Stampin' Up! online store.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see what I create with some of the new downloads from Stampin' Up! The January edition of The Soggy Stamper Newsletter will be published tomorrow as well. If you like the work I have been doing and would like to receive exclusive projects for your creative pleasure, subscribe to my newsletter by filling out the box to the right.
