Our challenge today was to create a card fit for a queen to honor Queen Victoria. Initially I didn't think I would be able to participate this week because we have been traveling through Canada to spend two months in the 'lower fourty-eight' as we Alaskans call the continental United States. However, thanks to My Digital Studio being a complete stamping room on my computer, I was able to create this card while riding on a ferry to Prince Rupert in British Columbia.
I created my own 'embossed' background paper by stamping the fleur-de-lis stamp from Extreme Elements onto the background filled with Blushing Bride color. I changed the drop shadow to Regal Rose with an opacity of 100% and Blur of 100%. I changed the color of the stamp to Blushing Bride so that just the drop shadow shows up. I created the greeting using the Lucinda Calligraphy font and size 16. If you would like to create this card and need some of the components, just click on the item links to go to my online store and purchase them. You will be able to download them immediately.
